If you've been following this series, then you HAVE to read this book. It's not the end but wow does it tell a story? I don't want to say too much to give anything away but seriously this is a good read, solid writing, easy to follow, don't want to put down, and pushes the story forward by leaps and bounds. As a stand-alone it probably wouldn't do quite as well because you need to know the characters, but if you do then WOWZA!! You are in for a real treat. Still recommending the series as it is a good story, not gory, or overly gory depending on your definition of gory, No real sexual overtones of any kind, and an occasional mild curse word but nothing horrific, or insulting ( I think Damn has been used a couple of times in the whole series, so again no real swearing) Just a good story, which you just don't see too much anymore. I love it to coin a popular advertisement phrase. I think you will too
